Course Introduction

This course is designed to provide participants with a detailed and up-to-to date knowledge on EHS audits and inspections. It covers the environment, health and safety inspections and audits (Corporate and Regulatory); the hazards at the workplace, record findings, controls and generate reports; and the strategies for controlling hazards, reducing risks and applying safe systems of work.

During this interactive course, participants will learn the Environment Health and Safety enforcement mechanism as required by regulatory framework; the OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 certification; and the environment, health and safety audit reports submitted by industries.

Training Methodology

A highly interactive combination of lectures and discussion sessions will be managed to maximize the amount and quality of information and knowledge transfer. The sessions will start by raising the most relevant questions and motivating everybody to find the right answers. You will also be encouraged to raise your own questions and to share in the development of the right answers using your own analysis and experiences.  Tests of multiple-choice type will be made available on a daily basis to examine the effectiveness of delivering the course.
