Course Introduction


The course describes terminologies & definitions in occupational health & safety, procedures of accident reporting and investigation, planning and conducting investigation, different techniques adopted for carrying out investigations, taking corrective and preventive actions to avoid reoccurrence, implementation of action plans, preparation of accident statistics and qualitative performance analysis.

Course Objective


Objective of this course is to understand about accidents, causes, requirements and importance of investigations, investigation methods, establishing facts, compiling corrective action reports and presentation make effective decisions and implement effective strategic organizational changes. Introduction of advanced tools of investigation (TOR & MORT).This course consists of presentations, briefings, case studies, and teamwork & short tests.
