Course Introduction

Equipment Maintenance is a complex process in any industry regardless of its scope. Shutdowns provide unique opportunities to a maintenance department not normally available during standard operation or even during short shutdown periods. A large work is required to schedule into a relatively short period of time. Very often, the cost of lost production due to unplanned failures far outweighs the shutdown cost.
